Terms of Sale
These terms apply to paid plans offered by UseBudget. They describe pricing, billing flow, subscription renewal, payment processing, and cancellation conditions for digital services sold through the application. This English translation is provided for convenience only; the French version alone is legally binding.

1. Offers and pricing
UseBudget offers monthly or yearly subscriptions: Base at €9.99 / month or €99.00 / year, the Analytics add-on at €4.99 / month or €49.00 / year (requires an active Base subscription), and the Base + Analytics bundle at €13.99 / month or €139.00 / year. Prices are net — VAT not applicable — Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (small-business exemption); the applicable price is the one displayed on the subscription page before confirmation.
Prices are shown in euros and may be updated for future billing periods. Any change only applies prospectively.
Without an active subscription, the account switches to read-only: data remains viewable and exportable, nothing is deleted.
2. Free trial and renewal
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial: a payment method is registered when the trial starts, and unless you cancel before the end of the trial, the subscription is charged automatically at the selected rate. The trial is offered only once, and only on the Base subscription and the Base + Analytics plan. The Analytics add-on added to an existing Base becomes a second line of the same subscription: one single invoice, prorated on the next billing date, with no trial period.
You can cancel renewal from the billing area or any payment-management path made available to you. Cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively cancel an already started period, except where required by law.
2a. Purchases in the iPhone and Android apps
In the iPhone and Android apps, subscriptions are purchased in-app through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). Two levels of the same subscription are offered there: Base, and Base + Analytics (which includes Base), each monthly or yearly. Payment, renewal, and any refunds are then handled by Apple or Google under their own terms; the price is the one displayed by the store, including the taxes of your country. The free trial follows the same rule: a payment method is required at the start, once per Apple or Google account.
From the app, you can switch between Base and Base + Analytics, or between monthly and yearly. Upgrading to Base + Analytics takes effect immediately, the time already paid being carried over by the store; other changes take effect at the end of the period already paid.
A subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play is cancelled from your Apple or Google account settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date; it remains active until the end of the paid period. Deleting your UseBudget account does not cancel it. Your purchase history remains available in your Apple or Google account.
Whatever the purchase channel — website, App Store, or Google Play — the subscription gives access to the same features, on the web and in the app.
3. Payment
- Payments made on the website are processed online by Stripe; in-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).
- UseBudget does not store full bank-card details.
- Access to paying features is activated or updated after the payment flow and subscription synchronization complete.
4. Right of withdrawal
If mandatory consumer law applies, you may benefit from a withdrawal period unless the digital service has started immediately with your express consent and waiver where legally permitted.
Any request related to withdrawal or billing must be sent to usebudget@marolya.fr with the email address used for the account.
For a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play, refund requests are addressed to Apple or Google, who decide under their own rules.
5. Liability
UseBudget remains liable within the limits imposed by applicable law for the proper delivery of the subscribed digital service.
UseBudget is not liable for indirect losses, loss of opportunity, or business decisions taken from the user's own financial data or forecasts.
6. Support and disputes
For any billing issue, please contact usebudget@marolya.fr first so that an amicable resolution can be attempted.
In the absence of an amicable solution, disputes are handled under the competent rules of applicable law.
